Total con artists! I called to make an appointment for three 13 year olds to have a mini pedicure. I told the woman on the phone I didn't want to pay the $28 and they didn't need their nails cut. I brought the girls in and reiterated that I just wanted a mini-pedicure, no cutting. One of the women, who seemed like the only one that understood english, said ok $40 for all three, waiving her hand to include all three. I asked if I could run to Butcher Boy and they said yes. When I came back they had done a manicure and pedicure and charged me $120. I never ever ever agreed to a manicure!! I was beyond upset but paid it because I felt I had too. Then when we were pulling away, they all came to the window and were pointing and laughing. My daughter's nails were done very sloppily as well and already have a chip. Please don't give your money to these crooks.
Lani is the sweetest lady, and I have never loved my nails so much! I have the solar nails, and she does them in a way that they look, and feel, completely natural. She is friendly, always smiling and happy to see you, and her staff are just as lovely. I had been there once, and I walked in two weeks later and she remembered who I was ... when was the last time you had that happen? This place ROCKS. (PS: they do eyebrow & lip waxing too, and eyelash application)
I have tried both several other nail salons in North Andover, one the nails kept coming off and the next were applied so thick every time they looked more fake than Lee Press on Nails..(even after repeated requests to thin them out). I went to Lani's nails on a when I saw an ad in a book at a fundraiser. I have not looked back once. Each and every time they come out natural looking and strong. Lani and the staff are the best. Salon is immaculate and latest and greatest equipment. Full spectrum of colors and choices of acrylics, gels, pink and white etc. One of the other salons boast Best in North Andover year after year...perhaps those that voted should stop by Lani's to compare before voting next year.
