I have been going to Carrie and Company for about 10 years now and I have never been disappointed. Carrie KNOWS hair!!! I went yesterday for color and cut and once again completely satisfied. If you're reading this review and are looking for a great hairstylist... I recommend her services 100%.

Carrie Porter knows hair! Seriously, people notice my hair and hair color almost everyday. I have been going to Carrie for a few years now and I can't believe the amount and frequency with which I receive compliments on my hair! Its crazy! The best is when people mention my hair and then tell me they are hair stylists themselves and want to know who does my hair. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. My hair has never looked better!

i went to Carrie and company looking for a dark red hair color and received a mix of blonde pink orange and red. The hairdresser first told me no need and should not bleach hair and went ahead and did it anyways my hair was fried and not the color i wanted. Paying almost 500 $ and not receiving the desired hair color i wanted i had to go to to a different place to get my hair fixed. No refund back for killing my hair and making it orange. Using my boyfriends good to review my experience.

After one too many DIY hair dye kits and unsuccessful trips to hairdressers in Louisiana my hair is no longer orange – thanks to Carrie! I went into the salon on a Saturday morning in June and after at least a 30-minute consultation, the process began. When I made the last minute appointment (luckily she was able to fit me in) I was planning on going dark – or back to my “nature” hair color. I had been highlighted golden blonde for many many years and Carrie was worried that the darkness of my natural color would be too drastic to my eyes and I would hate it. I didn’t need much convincing since I had been looking at orange hair for around four months! She expertly blended color to match the darkness of my roots with some golden highlights around my face and part. She knows I don’t put much time or effort into my styling so the placement was natural and something that I could update with a few foils at another salon since I live out of state. Not only is Carrie a longtime family friend, she has expertly colored and styled my mother’s hair for 12+ years! My Mom is constantly receiving praise on how gorgeous and her hair color and cut are. Carrie has years of experience but also keeps up with her education. I highly recommend Carrie and her girls – worth every penny!

My hair was a very dark brown and I wanted to lighten it for the summer and my upcoming wedding. I have a lot of iron in my water so when my hair dresser starting to highlight my hair to lighten it, it turned into a creamsicle orange color. It soon became very dry and brittle for trying to lighten it. I didn't know what todo so I started looking online for color specialists. I came across Carrie's website and read some of her reviews and thought I'd give her try. She is my hair saver! I went in for one appointment and not only was my the color I had been trying to get it to, it was soft and I could actually run my fingers through it. Carrie really cares about the condition of your hair. 5 months later my hair is shiny, healthy and in the best shape it's ever been. I would highly recommend Carrie to anyone who cares about the condition of their hair. She is my hair angel! Thank you Carrie and Joanna, you ladies are wonderful!
