This is hands down the worst salon in the greater Portland area! My friend's teenage daughter went there with her mother to have her hair colored for her birthday. After her daughter (who by the way is autistic) couldn't decide on her color choice in the first 5 minutes, the manager began giving her attitude and mader her cry. There was no apology from the owner or manager or anyone at the salon. As if that wasn't bad enough, the owner then proceeds to go on the salon's Facebook page and without provocation from the girl, posted the following comment... "I guess it's not easy pleasing everyone... especially teenage girls =).... oh well have a great day!" After talking with others who are familiar witht his salon it was clear to me and everyone else involved this is just how this place operates. Pretty sad if you ask me. My advice? Pick a different salon!!
The stylist I chose (based on price) was still learning but I got an excellent cut. The owner kept checking in and kept her ears open and was right there to give the stylist advice and answer questions. I know I was a difficult customer because although I had a fair idea of what I wanted I couldn't find it in any of the style books. At no time did I feel pressured even though I was there for over an hour while the two of them worked together to get me exactly the cut I wanted. I have been there several times since that first time and I have never had a complaint.
Stay away from this place. Incredibly rude owner.
