I walked into the salon about a month before my wedding to get some information about hair styling for brides & bridal parties. When I came in, I was greeted by a very friendly girl that was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I had never been to this salon, but its very close to where our wedding was, and everyone seemed so friendly so I thought I'd give it a try. They gave me info and I set up an appointment for my trial, and also gave them a $100 check for my deposit. My trial was with Christine (who also happens to be the owner). As soon as I came in, I felt it was a little weird because she was the only stylist in on a Saturday morning, and it was completely SILENT even though she was working with a client. Normally when I go to my regular stylist she is super friendly and talkative, but there was NO conversing going on. I kinda ignored it and went in hoping for the best. As soon as she was ready to start my trial I showed her a picture of what I wanted - pinned half-up with soft, romantic waves/curls. Seemed very simple and easy to achieve. Well things went well at first, she curled my hair and pinned it up, but then things went south when she pulled out a round brush and started brushing my hair out and all the curls to oblivion. Instead of the romantic look I was going for, my hair became frizzy and like I was in a 90s hair metal band. NOT the look I was going for. My Mom came along and politely told her that wasn't the look I was going for, and to please stop using the hair brush to frizz-out the curls. And that was when Christine RAISED her voice at my Mom and said that she was just 'creating the look in the picture!'. I left almost in tears, because she clearly wasn't listening to what I wanted and seemed VERY offended when I tried to explain what I did want. Obviously on my wedding day, I didn't want someone yelling at me or anyone in my bridal party, I wanted a relaxing & fun morning. I decided to go somewhere else (Alpine Hair & day spa - which was fabulous, and all the girls were so nice!), and unfortunately lost $75 of my deposit. I can't speak for any of the other stylists at this salon and like I said before the other ones I spoke with were VERY nice, but I definitely wouldn't recommend going with Christine, because she really doesn't seem like she enjoys doing hair, and the result will probably not be what you're looking for.

Awesome service - highly recommended! If you're looking for a stylist, I recommend Carole Brill.

Phenomenal service, my hair looks amazing, and it was decently priced! I have no complaints and would recommend this salon to anyone! Thanks !
