City Looks Salon

First I would like to say that I have only been to two other hair salons prior to my experience here. I very much like to stick to what I know and I do not really like to step outside of my comfort zone, but I was in dire need of a haircut, so I decided to make an appointment at the City Looks Salon. My hair was to my lower back when I made my appointment, and I went in with every desire to donate to Locks of Love. I asked my hairdresser how long my hair would be if I were to donate, and she said my hair would be about to armpits after I donate. After hearing that, I was for sure going to donate. I just wanted my hair long enough to put in a ponytail still. Well, she did cut my hair, but it ended up being slightly above my shoulders. I am not one of those girls who cries about her hair, but it was a big shock. Those few inches meant a lot to me haha. Once I left, I didn’t know how I felt about my new haircut. Later that day the haircut did grow on me. I originally didn’t want my hair that short, but I thought to myself, “hair grows.” The hair salon itself was very clean and nice looking. The staff there was very friendly, and it was easy to talk to everybody there. Even though my hair didn’t turn out as I expected, I still enjoyed the experience, and I would recommend City Looks Salon.
Chue--11/28/11--- I really like going to City Looks and having my hair cut or done by Amy. I have always left satisified because Amy is not only great at her profession but she is a great listener & and I trust her to let me know what hair style looks good or not on me. I've gone to other hair salons and have different people work on my hair and never left satisfied like I did when I would go see Amy. I would definitely recommend City Looks to people as well as Amy to be their hair stylist.
