Just got a haircut by Lisa Moody at Salon 42. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my hair! I have very long thick hair. Lisa listened to my problems with it and she surpassed my expectations. The layering, texturizing, and thinning she did was bar none. It is the best haircut I have ever gotten! I will definitely be going back for color. Keep up the good work!

Laura at Salon 42 is seriously the best hairstylists I have ever been to, and let me tell you I am particular about my hair. I have trusted her to do my hair for over six years now. Not only is she a great stylist, she has a phenomenal personality! I am one of those clients that always call last minute to get a color/cut. She has never turned me away! I like to change my hair cut/color often. I can sit in Laura's chair, tell her what I am thinking, and somehow she can interpret my hot mess! She recently talked me into a Brazilian Blowout. Best thing I have ever done for my hair! So worth the money! My hair is very thick, coarse, and curly. The blowout made my hair amazingly soft, shiny, and straight. It use to take me 30 minutes to blow dry my hair, then 10 minutes to flat iron. Now, it takes me 15 minutes just using my blow dryer. So easy! Seriously Laura at Salon 42 is the BEST! Love her!

Love Jana @ Salon 42. I have been going to her for many years & she is always able to do wonders with my fine hair. The color is always spot on & I get many, many compliments on my style & color - from men & women, even weeks after my appointments with her. I live in NW Raleigh and find that she is well worth the drive to 40/42 to get a great style.

I have been going to Salon 42 for 6 years now. Initially, I was absolutely amazed at how awesome my hair was each time! But then, over the past couple years it has just gotten progressively worse. Most recently, I received the absolute worst hair cut of MY LIFE. Each time, the service is less and less desirable. And the worst part is, my hairstylist (whom I've gone to religiously for 6 years and referred boatloads of people to and always tip more than 20%) did not care one bit that I was unhappy. Oh yes, I told her, she deserved that courtesy as far as I was concerned, because I didn't want to talk crap about my hair cut behind her back without giving her a chance. But she would rather lose a client than try to help the fact that I was dissatisfied. So now, I am left with hair that looks like Spock from Star Trek (and I'm a GIRL. NOT GOOD) and thoroughly upset. I will never go back there again.
