I came in with beautifully cut and highlighted hair done with the expertise of an Asheville salon only needing a few more highlights for the outgrown roots. I left looking as if the hair dresser had dropped an entire bottle of pumpkin blond hair dye on top of my head, not too flattering a combo with my deep rich brunette natural color. The hairdresser, fresh out of beauty school, actually said, "Oh, I just keeping giving people more highlights than they want." I could not have been any clearer in my instructions to just add a few subtle highlights and match the exquisite job already done in Asheville. She left literally an inch of dark brown roots and applied excessive amounts of a shade of blond that can only be described as fit for a trailer park pageant to the top of my head. When the foils came off the crown of my head was bright orange blond and the bottom dark brown. The owner had to intervene to try to correct the mess, wasting another hour of my time. In the end, I will do what I should have done in the first place and make the trip to a reputable salon in Charlotte. Restoring my hair color with the highlights tastefully done the way I had them will literally take months and lots of cutting away of the disastrous wreck made in a few "Moments." I'd expect this level of inability in one of those cheap walk in and get a haircut for $12 places, which is why I don't use them. But Moments actually charged me $65 for this totally botched job. I only wish someone had warned me about this place with an honest review. The bottom line: if you are the least bit interested in having your color done properly, avoid "Moment's" like the plague it is.
