Asked if man working, named "Joe," was good with clippers, and he stated he was. He was most certainly not (apparently the only person around who is operates in Calabash). During the course of the cut, he continuously mumbled things under his breath, such as "that's good enough," which did nothing to inspire confidence. He lacked any technique whatsoever, and I have serious doubts about how he managed to acquire his cosmetology license. A previously stated, shop was filthy. A simple ten minutes worth of cleanup would've helped considerably. He handled the straight razor on my neck like he was a butcher, cutting me twice. Never been nervous about a straight razor before. Avoid at all costs.
Stay away from this place. Needed a haircut while on vacation. Saw the sign and stopped in. The place was filthy.
Called on Monday and was told hours were from 10-7. Tried to stop by Tuesday around 5 PM, but it was closed.
