My sister has been getting her hair done at Euphoria for a while now. I've only been there once but I will definitely be going back. The salon is very cute and more importantly, very clean. The girls working there are friendly and I thought the service was very good. I have only been there for a cut and color but I was thoroughly pleased and I will continue to drive the 86 miles to get there.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. My mother, sister, and sister-in-law went here for pedicures. Two of them had never had one -- where as myself and one other had. I typically go to the Asian salons as they do a great job. I live in the Mpls area now (but grew up in Dickinson) and all of us were back home for a wedding. We decided to try this place as some ladies at my mother's work raved how wonderful the service was. From the moment we walked in, no one greeted us. Many younger girls were in the back area, but we could see them... it took a few minutes for a lady to help us and she said "shortly" our pedis would start as the two girls are cleaning the tools. Our appt was at 1, not 1:15 to start the pedis. Shouldn't this be done before hand? Only two of us could go at a time (4 of us total) so we picked our colors relatively fast and were ready to go. The room was nice, very cute for these services. Our feet weren't soaked at all. The two ladies doing the pedis (one apparently had a degree... but you would never know it) seemed EXTREMELY inexperienced. I could have done a better one myself! They started by scrubbing our feet with a file. DRY. I'm wondering how you get off dead skin when my skin is dry? No clipping was done and barely any filing of the toes. This is a pedicure... these are basic components. The sugar/salt scrub was nice (though it took them a minute to put it on, then wrapped our feet for 15 minutes). The only "soak" we got was to rinse off the scrub. Then they dried our feet and painted them. When we asked if they could do a design of sorts - both ladies said "I'm not really the creative type... but we have these decals you can pick from". You know the stupid decals you pick up at Wal-Mart/Target for yourself? YES, IT WAS THOSE. They applied them after we told them where (as they didn't want to make that decision...not creative) and did a top coat. Then, we had to wait another 20 minutes for the girls to come back and start the second 2. Seems so unproductive and a waste of time. They have no dryers for your toes - they just air dry. I have never been so disappointed. We wanted to treat my mom and sister to pedis since they have never had them before --- such a waste. All the ones I have gotten in Mpls were way more thorough and relaxing. Definitely go to the Asian place in the Prairie Hills mall -- they do a WAY better job and they can paint you a cute design or flower that will stay on longer than a day. Pass on this place. Very cute and seemingly upscale.
