This is a hidden gem in NJ for hair cuts. Best hair cut I've had for years. Made me feel younger and my wife couldn't stop telling me how great it looked. As a bonus, there's great service. May is a sweet woman with a wonderful sense of humor. I actually showed up after closing and without hesitation she let me in. I got an affordable shampoo and hair cut with a style that I haven't been able to find at any $$$ stylist in DC where I live. I'm sure every time I visit NJ I will drop by May's for a hair cut!
It was a nightmare to find a decent hairstylist for wedding up-dos especially for an out-of-towner planning a destination wedding in the Princeton area. I spent many weekends before our wedding driving up from out of town for trials but nothing worked – places with big names charged handsomely but yet delivered poorly work that fell apart right at the moment I walked out the salon door. Out of desperation a dear friend gave me a recommendation of May’s, a smaller venue. To my surprise, May’s very friendly, skillful, and knowledge with bridal up-dos. My trial as well as the day of up-dos turned out beautifully which went perfectly with my makeup and dress, and only cost a fraction what I had paid elsewhere. Very pleasant experience and highly recommended!
