I absolutely love this place! Lysai and her brother both do amazing jobs! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know! Lysai does the BEST job at my pointy (stiletto) junk nails! She takes time and puts lots of hard work into them. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!
Don't listen to their own review about providing excellent service. The service was horrible. I had a gift certificate that was about to expire and they wouldn't even consider extending it one week so I could use the balance of it- the owner was very rude and condescending about it. She pretty much screamed at me and then wouldn't even look me in the eye. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It amazes me how rude a non-U.S. owner thinks they can treat American customers. No respect at all. None. I would've been completely compliant and accepted that they could/would not extend the certificate of someone who PAID IN FULL to send someone here had they shown a shred of tactfulness. Instead, I sat down and spent the rest of the certificate on another service while they sat there and spoke THEIR FOREIGN language in front of me and laughed away- just like the Seinfeld episode. Rude and disrespectful is all this place is- and, since you can't fix stupid, I will never go here again and will tell anyone else who will listen how terrible Angel Spa in Brunswick is!
I've been going to Angel Nail Spa for over 2 years. The older reviews are right on for when they were posted. Over time I have seen almost 100% employee turn over. The quality of work (acrylics) has gone way down. It used to be a beautiful place to go for really great prices, but now they make stupid upgrades like cheap LED lights instead of maintaining the equipment and cleanliness of the stations they have. Right now the nail dryer's fan is broken and missing its knob. They put a temporary plug-in fan on the table but even it is on its last leg since 2 weeks ago. The walls have been banged up by tables and chairs and splattered with chemicals. It could really benefit from some more training for its meager staff and consistency for uniform. They know me by name. I come in every 2 weeks or so, but even I get treated like I'm pretty unimportant. I can't tell you the last time I was served in the order in which I signed in. Lately I get sat at a woman's station (who must not be qualified to do acrylics because all she does is take off my polish and start to file my nails really slowly). Then I get moved to another person's table (usually when they finish with someone that got sat AFTER me). I couldn't tell you anyone's name. They don't wear name tags or introduce themselves. They answer their personal cell phones and speak other languages to other employees and laugh right in front of customers. I'm really sad because I had tried a few of Brunswick's other nail salons before going to this one 2 years ago and I never want to go back into those. I hope this review prompts Angel Nail to close for a few days and clean up!
After trying out some really bad, foul smelling, discourteous salons in the Brunswick- Medina area, I got lucky when I went into Angel Nails and met Anna. Angel Nail Spa was VERY Clean, friendly and courteous. They filled my acrylic nails, shaped them the way I wanted them and I had a fantastic pedicure. I have been getting my nails done & having pedicures for a lot of years. This salon, (which is newly remodeled & has new owners), is one of the cleanest and most comfortable ones I have been in for quite some time. As soon as you walk in the door, you'll know what I'm saying is true. You'll love it!
I took my mom to angel nails for her bithday and we were very pleased. We had the heavenly pedicure and the pampering lasted 1 1/2 hours in amazing masssage chairs. The girls were great and really friendly. The place is very clean and updated. I highly recommend and will go back.
