Sweet grandmother's spatula! Roosters Men's Grooming is without a doubt the best men's haircut company in the Cincinnati region. When I moved to Cincinnati, I wanted to find a conveniently located haircut place for men with reasonable prices, where the inside was clean, my haircut (albeit simple) is going to be consistent, and the business typically used scheduled appointments (so that I don't have to sit and wait for a long time when I get there). Needless to say, the Mariemont Roosters Grooming Center checked off all of those boxes, and Penelope consistently gives the best haircut around (I'm sure all the other employees are terrific). Yes, the prices at Roosters are slightly higher than others around, but the added standard services (warm face towel + washing your hair after the cut = feels amazing and you don't have to worry about all those hair specs all over the place) are more than worth it...it's all of these little things put together that make Roosters Grooming Center a very handsome choice for men in the Cincinnati area. Thanks!
Every month I can't wait to sit in Shi's chair and get an awesome cut. Hours are great. They really go beyond customer's expectations. If you bring your son with you you save an extra $6. Do you need more reasons to make it your regular barber shop?
Great haircut in a great atmosphere. Hannah does a fantastic job, and always cuts my hair exactly how I want it. I love the hot towel on my face as my hair is washed. I walk out of there feeling great every time.
I used to go to salons but I was always frustrated that they never seemed to understand how to cut/style men's hair. I have longer hair and don't get the typical buzz cut. A friend recommended Roosters, so I gave it a try and was extremely pleased. When I found out this location opened in Mariemont, I made the switch from Mason as it is closer to me. Points of happiness: appointments are kept close to scheduled time, refreshments offered, hot towel on face, shave neck with a real razor, stately interiors, online booking
Roosters is the place to go if you want to pay more for a haircut to be surrounded by attractive female hairdressers instead of paying less for a haircut while being surrounded by male barbers. The people who cut hair at Roosters are attractive, young women. This is not sexist nor is it beside the point. This is what they're going for. You pay more for the experience, which includes a hot towel on your face (mine smelled like BBQ beef), and a shampoo with a little head massage. They also offer a few other "niceties" that seem overkill (haircut in a private room, a man cave that according to the staff never gets used). 20 minutes after my haircut I had forgotten all about the experience and felt like a chump paying over $40 for a pretty basic haircut plus tip. Just beware that you'll pay more for this unique barber shop experience, but unless you require an advanced cut by a cosmetologist, stick to your local barber.
