Great prices and I got a full set of acrylic tips in under an hour on my lunch break! Will be coming back regularly.
My aunt introduced me to 202 nails, and it's the best and worst thing she could possibly do. The best, because I absolutely love the level of service and quality of work I get done there, but the worst, because now I always want to go there. I recently moved to Swarthmore, PA and I'd hoped to find somewhere near me with the same level of friendliness and quality work, but I've been sorely disappointed at the places I've tried. 202 Nails is clean, well lit, and the staff is friendly. They offer bottled water when you are there, they incorporate hot stone massage into their pedicures, and they even use a cute little lime wedge when they do your manicure. They have 5 pedicure stations, and more than that number of manicure stations, although I don't think I've ever seen enough staff to use them all at once. I've only been there during the week or on Sundays, so I'm not sure how busy they get on a Saturday, but I've never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes. I like it there so much that I've planned for my bridal party to all have mani pedis there the day before my wedding. Looking forward to it!
I want to start off by saying that I used to absolutely LOVE this place. I had been going there for a year and would make a 20 min drive just to go there. It is amazing how one bad experience can turn you off. First off, I was never asked if I wanted to get my pedicure and manicure at the SAME time. They just started to do it while I was sitting there. It was extremely awkward with the other costumers and not to mention that I kept having to put my hand under the gel dryer while crossing my arms. I thought the point of a pedicure was to feel relaxed? I honestly felt like I had to pay attention and was very uncomfortable. I had a stack of magazines on my lap holding the dryer in place. After I expressed my discomfort, she stopped while he did the leg massage, but asked seconds before that if the guy doing my pedicure could take a lunch break? How freaking awkward! I mean I want the guy to eat, but seriously???? I would have come back at another time if they didn't have enough time or he needed to eat. As I was leaving I expressed to the manager that he should probably have people have a choice if they want a manicure and pedicure at the same time. Instead of apologizing for the inconvience he told me I should have spoken up. He kept arguing with me and finally apologized. I said thank you and that he should have just done that in the beginning instead of trying to argue with a costumer. He then proceeded to make a snide remark and say "OKAY THANKS BOSS!". Wow. So rude. I feel bad for the people that work there because they are probably treated poorly if he treats his costumers that way. I will never go back there again and I would not recommend that place to anyone. Horrible. Horrible. RUDE. RUDE!
just be considerate! if I walk in and it's going to take a while let me kno. I walk in they tell me to pick a color....I do. a lady starts my fillin..and by start I mean pretended to kno what she was doing..30 min later someone else takes over.....20 min later someone else takes over. so now I've waited an hour. ...and nowthe final guy (who thought this was the appropriate time to advertise his Uber job) takes over starts my nails I tell him that they need to be thicker cause they will break, and this man has the audacity to ignore what I say and continue to do what he is doing. I stop him and his first words to me are let me tell you something....... Ha! after an hour of u guys jerking me around, I am at least going to get my nails done how I want. needless to say I stopped him before he could disrespect me any further and left.
Good service.
