Take 5 always does a great job on my kids' hair. It's reliable and convenient. More recently, I started getting blow outs from Leah at Take 5. She is incredible! She also does a deep conditioning treatment for me and has taken my hair from damaged/dry/dull to very healthy. I cannot say enough great things about Leah! I normally go to a swanky downtown salon (translate: high price) for all of my hair related services. It's nice to save a little money by getting a few services from Leah to maintain my mane.
I received a nicely cut pixie hairstyle from a woman. I like it.
Ashley made me feel very comfortable and she is sweet as pie. I can't say the haircut was perfect. She is very young so is new to the hair styling game but for the price and atmosphere I'll take it for a quick cut. She's probably better with longer, simpler styles. For shorter, more detailed styles you might want someone with a bit more experience or you can try her and talk her thru it. :)
The girls at Take 5 kno what they are doing when it comes to guys cuts. There's hardly ever a long wait, but there is plenty of entertainment (big TVs and video game consoles, and a men's magazine collection that is fit for the downtown library) Pair this with decent prices (not as cheap as TGIs but better value) and this quickly becomes your go-to place of choice.
I've been in there 3 times and I've been happy with my haircut. Plus the TVs are nice. If I take my 3 year son he can sit and watch TV and/or play/watch Xbox. They also did a good job of cutting his hair.
