It is a horrible horrible salon. They provided me an uneven hair cut. It happened twice. And because of the uneven hair cut I had to cut my hair very short. It seems like all of the people who work their have no experience with hair cut.
I love going to TGF my stylist is Jodi but i have gone to a couple of the other girlz too for my blowdry/style. I love the way she colors and cuts my hair no one has gotten it right but her and she always makes me feel welcome and accomodated ! I like to call her my hairygod mother !!
First off I would like to note I never leave bad reviews, but this one merits it. This was by in far the worst experience at a salon I have ever had. I was in a rush and this place was right next to my house, so I took a chance. I went in to get my bangs trimmed, simple enough. The stylist CUT MY BANGS PAST MY EARS, she gave me a mullet. It was so awful I had to go get extensions to cover up what she had done. Don't go here . . .
I was in great need of a hair color and was hesitant for a while to get my hair colored at TGF. But their website promised great results with talented professionals. I had Jodie to do a cut an color. Big mistake. She colored my hair which left my hair brow all over except my roots that came out a rusty orange. I figured I give her a break, at first it was not to big of a deal, more wasting my time than anything. Then she tries it again and it comes out the same. Another 30 minutes wasted. Then she cuts my hair and pretty much butchers it. Now I know that curly hair can be tricky, but before I came in I expressed to them that I have curly hair and would like some one with a good deal of experience with curly hair. The girl over the phone, who by the way seemed like she was in an hurry and was trying to get me off the phone asap, said "oh you will be in good hands." I wasn't. Jodie was nice enough but she smelled like smoke so bad. Every time her arms or hands were near my head I got such a bad whiff of her smoke scent. It really was very unprofessional. This was Sunday and she offerred to do it one more time, but it was already 5, closing time and I was tired of sitting. A co-stylist came over and the talked about my hair and commented that this has never happened before. I was not buying it. So instead of apologizing and say she would get me in tomorrow, she said what about tuesday. Are you kidding me? So I definitely will not be going back. Then I called to speak with a manager today. The girl was polite and said she won't be in till tomorrow. I asked when, and she said at 12:30 but "she will be busy and won't have time to talk". Really, is this the best customer service that you have. I would not recommed.
Ask for Jodi! Call ahead and book an appointment or you may be waiting a while ... that's how great she is! Dori is also awesome! :)
