Avalon Nails

This was my first time in here...I had Tom do my nails too and he did a great job. I felt very comfortable in here and it was a happy atmosphere. Ask for Tom he did a great job and he was nice to talk to.
Jenny is my girl there. I get compliments on every thing she does. Very artistic flowers and designs. My last visit was done by Hannah. I did not like her work at all. And I just saw my credit card got billed an extra $15 for a tip when I gave her a $12 cash tip! I will now go back to complain, but I don't want to stop going, because I love Jenny's work.
My first (and only) experience with Avalon nails was obviously not a good one. I went with a friend and we each got a pedicure and a Shellac manicure and although our nails look alright, the girl who did them had a BAD attitude. She stopped just short of rolling her eyes and was noticeable irritated almost the entire time. She apparently didn't want to be bothered with us and didn't seem to even want to be there, despite the fact that it is her JOB. I was told her name was Hannah, although she never actually introduced herself. (I know it wasn't Tracy because I see a lot of good reviews about her and they specifically said she was off that day. The one male that was there seemed very nice and actually did my friend's pedicure. We didn't have any issues with him.) Hannah, however, needs an attitude adjustment. She was very unprofessional and extremely rude. I will never go there again.
I regularly get my manicures and pedicures here. Christy, Steve, and Tracy are especially good. I have never had a bad experience among the dozens of times I have visited. And I get many complements on the (acrylic) manicures I get there.
I got a manicure there last week and the guy cut my nails way to short and to chunks of my skin out when he went to cut my cuticals. My fingers were bloody and still hurt. I got to say I've been to plenty of nails salons and this was by far the worst I have ever had. Hopefully it just won't get infected.
