Have been coming here since they opened for manicures, pedicures and acrylics. I have always had a good experience and my nails and feet always come out looking great. I don't really understand the negative comments; Tom and Yen are great (and fast) and I have never had even minor imperfections in my acrylics. My wife has been a customer of Tom for for fifteen years and I see us coming here for years to come.
The quality of work here as been on the decline for awhile but I honestly can't believe how bad its gotten. I paid $30 for a full set of acrylics and the very next day went to get it fixed. They were peeling up by the cuticle which means they weren't properly applied. When I asked for them to be fixed they told me they would have to charge me for another full set. When I said if they wouldn't fix them I would take my buisness elsewhere, only THEN did they agree to do it. The lady who did it was visably angry with the situation and spoke to her co-workers about me not knowing I could understand what she was saying. Needless to say that I will NEVER be coming back.
I have been in many times since 2003. What happened to their staff from way back then? It used to be a very friendly place with techicians who did a great job and were friendly. I was in yesterday, and not only was the staff unfriendly bordering on rude---and they were completely dead of traffic---my nails don't look good either! I had nails put on during a trip to New York two weeks ago and was in for a fill. I have not been in for anything in a year or so, and then just a pedicure. Very dissappointing all the way around. All residents of Fairfield want to use our local, neighborhood stores if they are good. This one is not!
