Got the groupon $23 for a $45 gel manicure, go in and find out their gel manicure is only 27 dollars regularly. I mention it and the guy says it's because they add a paraffin dip, last time I checked that wasn't a 15 dollar add on... whatever, I say okay and tell them I want a pedi as well. That was probably my biggest mistake. The nail tech doing my toes was rough, cut my toe and cut my nails with a cuticle clipper which stabbed me quite a few times. Then she uses the callous remover for like thirty seconds on each foot WITHOUT lotion. So painful. The massage was getting lotion put on my skin and she didn't even put a top coat on my nails. Then they try to tell me because they used the callous remover I had a "deep callous treatment" HA! Never have I heard that before. As for my nails.... He makes me stretch over my 8 month pregnant belly so he didn't have to move to the other side of the chair then gets rude when I can't reach all the way and sets the UV machine on my baby. He waited until the end to give me another 40 second lotion massage and my paraffin dip which lasted a total of 2 minutes. And when I told him it was too hot he ran the wax under cold water so the outside hardens while the wax still burned me. He also gave me a paint job that looks like my baby sister did it. Finally it's over and he basically pushes me out of the chair gracing my stuff and throwing it my lap before I even stand up. (Not like they needed the chair, no one else was there) Infuriated I tell them I want my money back and they sit there and argue with me. They get nasty and rude and tell me it's my fault for being pregnant and unable to reach. Then they throw that "deep callous removal" saying they did more than a regular pedi. They were horrible, their salon looks unkempt, their massage chairs are hard and hurt to sit in, they let my foot water get cold and never offered nee as much as a beverage. Basically worst ever.
