It was Wednesday, December 31st, year of the Horse when I strolled into this quaint salon in the midst of the HEB shopping center. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, all I knew was my hair was a mess. Had been for quite some time. My uncertainty was met with the stellar guidance of a cosmetologist called Annie. She offered a vague recommendation that I regarded with a measure of skepticism. I recognized in her eyes a wisdom gained through years of experience and relinquished control to her steady hands and calculated snips. Flash forward ten minutes and I'm snapped out of my New Year's daydreaming to the vision of the most devilishly handsome man I'd ever laid eyes upon. Who was this mysterious gentleman? Whaaaaaat it was my reflection. Annie had transformed me. I bounced out of the chair and cast another glance towards the mirror and reveled in her craftsmanship. She's good. Damn good. Guys, if you happen to stop by this spot for any type of hair service rest assured you are in good hands. Better hands than Allstate fo sho. Five stars, first class, top drawer.
