I've recently moved to Dallas and was looking for a good salon to do my hair. I've visited this salon twice, and the first time I had a 1:00 appointment with a stylist. I showed up for my appointment on time and was not even greeted by any of the other stylists until after 30 minutes of waiting. I had no idea who my stylist was, and she finally came to introduce herself after me waiting for 45 minutes. She told me that she was running behind, and I was okay with that. However, I didn't get into her chair until after 2:30. I was beyond frustrated, but the stylist ended up being very helpful, funny, and friendly. The second time I was very hesitant about making another appointment (same stylist) because of the long wait the first time, but I assumed maybe that the first appointment was just on a bad day. This time I was greeted when I walked in the door :) The woman that greeted me told me that she would be shampooing my hair. As we walked to the back, I spoke to my stylist, and she asked me if I minded if another stylist (same stylist shampooing my hair) did my hair. I didn't mind, so she (other stylist) started doing my hair (shampooed, conditioned and began styling). Well, as she was styling my hair, one of her appointments showed up, and she made me sit in another chair while she did this other's client's hair! I WAS LIVID! You would have thought my original stylist would have picked up where she left off, but no! She was still on the same woman's hair, and when she finished, she just moved to her next appointment's hair. The other stylist finally finished up my hair when she finished the other woman's hair. So, yes, I had to wait with wet, partially twisted hair while someone else that came later than I did walked out. If she had not started on my hair, I would have walked out. I'm really understanding, and what really made me the angriest is that I got a phone call from the salon at about 9:15 confirming my appointment at 10 A.M. If the original stylist knew she was running behind, I don't understand why this wasn't told to me during the call. I would have really understood, but I felt like my time nor money was very valued at this salon. I will definitely not return. I did receive an apology from the other stylist (one that did my hair) about the length of time it took. At first, I didn't respond, but I later apologized to her because it really wasn't her fault and she really did a good job. However, I've never had such poor service at a salon, and I've been to some awful salons. I understand that flexibility is necessary for their business, but this was totally disrespectful and unprofessional.

I would love to share my experience BUT when I arrived at the shop, I learned that it had moved to a new location which I could not find either when my GPS directed me.
