Been going to CK for several years now after trying several local places. Found owner Kim to a genuine nice and honest person, who knows her customers. I'm a no-fuss, cut-and-go sorta guy, so I'm easy pleased. But my misses, who I encouraged (harassed) to visit Kim less than a year ago, has higher standards. Now my wife gets her hair cut/colored/trimmed/styled every few months by Kim. Although walk-ins are welcome, suggest you book an appointment if you have a busy schedule. Highly recommend.
I love this place. But with all reviews you either get people who love or hate it, and since I saw two hates, I had to let people know how much I love the place. We (myself, mom, sister, and sometimes my dad) go there to get our hair cut. When I go I ask for Stacy (who only works every other Saturday now) or Kim (the manager) they are the two good stylists, the other lady with curly hair and older, she is awful. She cut my hair once and I hated it until it grew out. Kim and Stacy are the complete opposite, myself and my sister both have long hair and are eerie of who we let cut it because it is so precious to us, but they do a fantastic job, and they straighten it for us too, because they really do love hair. My mom gets her hair cut and colored there and they always do a wonderful job. As for guys, my dad has a rather large lump on top of his head from when he was a child (its about 1/2" high and about 3" in diameter, so if he gets his hair cut poorly it shows and looks strange, but they do fine with it every time and he keeps his hair cut very short. I hope this review helps. Also, you should make an appointment so you are for sure able to get Kim or Stacy, stay away from the other lady, she's kind of moody and sucks at cutting hair. It's like she ignores what you tell her when she asks what you want done. Oh....when they shampoo your hair, it takes longer than usual, you basically get a head massage for about 5 minutes, its super relaxing.
I cannot understand the bad comments of some people here. I have visited CK during years and Kim and her staff are always corteous, kind, honest people. The girls on Saturday, Tina and Stacy, are great as well. I've seen them behaving in the same way with everyone. The only thing they should improve is accepting credit cards.I believe some people here just confused the place.
