Horrible customer service!! This is my first ever review and I'm sad that I had to write a negative review on someone. I checked in online today at 6:30 PM with mobile no. ending 661 and website showed me an estimated wait time of 54 mins. So, I went around 7:05 PM and saw 6-7 people waiting in the store. When I approached the front desk, one old lady asked my name and checked the monitor. I peeped into her screen and clearly saw that my name was 3rd on the list but she did something and pushed me to end of the list and now my number is 9 and She told me that my wait time is 1 hour 30 mins. I asked her that my wait time was 54 mins at 6:30 PM and how come it has increased to 90 mins at 7:05 PM? She told with a rude voice that some other people are ahead of me and walked away. She didn't even bother to give proper reply. Other Stylist who was watching this whole scene was surprised and gave me a sorry kinda look. Last month when I went there, one more stylist felt as if she was not at all interested in trimming my hair. She was not able to do a square at back of my neck. Pathetic. I said I'm not at all satisfied with the hair cut I had. She said sorry and gave me a coupon of $8.99 for next visit. This place is getting worse. I will never never never visit this store again. If there is an option I would like to give negative stars to this store. Pathetic.
I made the mistake of not using their online check-in prior to arriving. It's suppose to be a walk-in business and so you can't make an appointment. Priority goes to those who download their app and check in online. I waited over an hour and watched 5 people walk in after me and get service before I finally had enough and walked out. In short, their business model values potential customers over present and ready paying customers. I'm increasing my rating to two stars because they at least cut my hair decently when I could get in within a reasonable wait time (with an incredible amount of guidance and instruction). You get what you pay for. If you value your time pay a little extra for a location that gives appointments, or go to an actual "walk in" service.
I've never actually had anything negative to say about a barber shop before, but I must stand with the other reviewers and recommend that you bypass Great Clips. The last three times I went were decent enough, but this last time I went to get the sides and back cleaned up and they forgot to trim the back. I got home, felt the back of my neck and checked the mirror- I looked like I had a mullet. The sides were uneven as well.
The wait was a little long but that's because I didn't use their online check in system. Stylist gave me the exact cut I asked for. The staff in general were friendly and I'll definitely be coming back.
HORRIBLE! EVERY TIME I go in here its something new. I'm usually not one to complain but this is the last straw. I went in and got my hair cut a simple fade with a trim on top. The lady who cut my hair couldn't have seemed more uninterested in cutting my hair. I asked for my hair to be an inch and a quarter in length and she gave a couple snips and was done (when I later checked my hair is still about 2 1/2). She absolutely didn't know how to fade hair and after I asked her to go over it a couple more times with the clippers she gave me a VERY rude attitude and blamed the bad cut on me! Saying that's what I asked for. She told me she was done and I wanted nothing more then to get out of there for fear of having my hair unfixable. I told her just to leave it and got out of there asap. When I got home and surveyed the damage I noticed that she literally used clippers on one side burn and left the other at its original length.....SHE MISSED AN ENTIRE SIDE OF MY HEAD (keep in mind she told me she was done)! I immediately went to a competitor to have my hair cut fixed and even they were in awe of how bad of a job this lady did. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go back here again and will be looking for somewhere else to go. I encourage everyone else to do the same. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I don't even think "Stars" are the right icon to have they should have pentagrams cause I'd be glad to give them 5 of those.
