Horrible low lights and rude stylist named Leslie. Not happy with color. Correction was bad too. Blondes beware! I was told that we were done and sent out twice with wet hair. Low lights did not go to roots. Go to Petra's. They rock.
I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to changing up my hairstyles, and I had long hair before my appointment with Zohara (I read these reviews and just had to try out the salon for myself). I wanted a change and found some photos of the hair cut I wanted and showed it to her. She was so excited, and she and I made some modifications to the hairstyle so that it best suited my features and styling personality, and I love it! She is the loveliest woman that is quiet during the cutting process. She is quick to recommend shampoos, conditioners and any other coloring treatments that work for your hair and takes significant time with your hair (to me it seemed a little long for a shampoo, haircut and style). My shampoo, deep-conditioning treatment, hand massage, cut and style were $35 (not including tip; you can also get a complementary mini facial with your appointment, but I passed). I found it to be a great value for the service and transformation she gave me. I went from long layers to a medium, angled bob look.
Just left the Salon after a dreadful haircut at another cheapy hair salon. I thought my hair was un fixable! Tanya was able to transform my tragedy to an amazing trendy new style! The color and cut are amazing and very chic! I'M GLAD TO HAVE FOUND A NEW STYLIST. THANK YOU HAIR AFFAIRS IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I reccomend to anyone who wants great service and great hairstyle.
Epic to say the least. First off, if you're planning on trying them out, it'd be a good idea to book an appointment ahead of time. The salon was REALLY busy on Saturday. I did a walk in appointment and got lucky to get served ten minutes later. Was not expecting a complimentary mini facial, but that was definitely a plus. I've been wanting a pixie cut for the longest time, but the thought of it going horribly wrong always kept me away. My hair is pretty thick. Short haircuts always make my head look like a mushroom. So I brought in a picture of the exact cut I wanted. Joy did all the rest, and let me tell you now, it came out AMAZING. She always made sure I was comfortable with how short she was cutting my hair and was really helpful with giving styling tips. I literally walked out of there a new person. For $35, this haircut was practically a steal. I'll definitely be coming back again.
Heard great things about this place and wasnt surprised. This will be my new hair dresser from now on!
