Scott McGregor is a wonder! He is truly talented! Every time I have gone to him I have left feeling gorgeous. His little salon is classy and not over done. The staff are friendly and courteous. You can sip wine while enjoying a pampering hair styling. Highly recommend you try them.
Besides the wine-in-hand and the welcoming atmosphere - both of which are great - the real reason to go to Serenity is your hair. I moved to Richmond from Ft. Lauderdale about 4 months ago, and was grieved to lose my amazing stylist. I ran in to Scott at a local restaurant and found him extremely cordial, so I thought I'd give him a shot at my hair. (I am a man with a bullying cowlick and semi-thick hard-to-style hair.) He did great things. Exactly what I wanted only better. Summary: Do it for your hair - let the cozy salon and wine be the icing on the experience.
Have been going to Scott Mcgregor for the past couple of years. The atmosphere in the salon is very welcoming and relaxing! Nothing beats having a glass of wine while you are being pampered!
