I go to Colleen's spa to feel pampered and that's exactly what she does for me. I particularly like avoiding the more hectic atmospheres at the larger spas. Colleen gives you her undivided attention while you're there and you can completely relax in her lovely home turned spa. When I'm done with a facial, body scrub, waxing, or foot treatment, she has washed my stress away and made me feel beautiful and refreshed. She has the most gentle touch giving you any of these treatments. I always get compliments on my skin thanks to Colleen. I recommend any of her services to all of my friends and family.

Who knew that the most amazing spa in Seattle isn’t even IN Seattle! After years of disappointing spa experiences in the Seattle area, I was referred to Riposante in Shoreline. Colleen Rock has created a magical, clean, freshly scented sanctuary in an area of her home devoted exclusively to her spa business. I thought I’d had great facials in the past, but the one at Riposante went beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. I’ve always felt cheated when I’ve booked a 60-minute treatment downtown – there is so much activity in the “relaxation” rooms, then some of your time is eaten up while you’re changing, then at some point they leave you for 10 minutes while you have a masque on your face, then it’s time to pay up and get out because the next client is waiting, oh and don’t forget the push to buy some products. In contrast, Riposante is like another world. Before my initial treatment, Colleen took the time to get to know me and my history; and in fact, she tells you throughout the treatment exactly what she is doing. She wants to be sure you are comfortable, although she does tend to explain things a little more than I thought was necessary. She does not rush the treatment, she personalizes the product to your face, she doesn’t leave you for long stretches at a time, and her facial massage and the bonus galvanic treatment leave your face looking fresh and firm. The Riposante facial lasted 1-1/2 hours and left me feeling refreshed and renewed. The location is easy to find, and you’re not dealing with downtown traffic and parking stress. (Be careful, though: I did notice police had their radar gear out and were ticketing cars along 15th Ave. NE!) This was the best spa experience of my life, and I WILL be back.

Riposante Skin Care is a luxury you must indulge in. Colleen brings solitude and tranquility to her services for each and every one of her clients. You'll enter her lovely home right in the heart of Shoreline and be swept away to a fabulous spa treatment. I've been going to Riposante for a little over a year and have already turned two of my friends into clients as well. I so believe in her services i recently ran an ad in our program for an event at work that I hope will promote this incredible service available in our own little Shoreline. Once you make an appointment, you'll never use another service. And if you are not a Shoreline resident, you need to make the drive anyway, because you'll never go another place for a facial. Colleen is wonderful. Hint...Just try to stay awake during the European Facial to make sure you get the full splendor of the event. Last time I fell asleep and felt really jipped that I'd missed my facial :0)
