Always excellent. I come back every 6-8 weeks from Augusta to get my hairs cut by Chris Williams and I've been doing this for maybe 2 years and then was with Helmet for 3-4 more years prior with different stylists. I love Helmet and wish I lived closer now, but I'll still keep coming back. I've been getting my hair expertly bobbed and am now growing it out but Chris continues to make me look as good as possible. Thank you, Chris and Helmet!!

I was recommended to try this place out by a coworker, and I'm so glad I did! Chris Williams was my stylist, and I was blown away by his professionalism and friendliness. He is very talented, and all the other staff members that helped out were great and eager to make sure I had the best experience possible. I wanted to try lightening my hair, and ended up not being a huge fan - but Chris had me come in a few days later and darkened it slightly for me for free. Great customer service!

Summary: Do not come get a haircut here if you are a male!! Review: I came by here on a Sunday recently, place was empty and got a haircut from a younger female with long brown hair. I asked for a simple cut. 1/2 setting on the clippers ( a fade ) around the sides and back and maybe 1/2 - 1 inch off the top. Lady cut my hair and looked like a decent job. I went home and took a look at the fade with side mirrors and I realize that it is blended awfully. She basically created a separate hair line running across the middle of my head where the two settings on the clipper were never blended in. And I have a large patch of uneven hair on the back as well. To top that off, she didn't even line up or taper my neck line. The worst haircut I have ever received!! To top that off, I was walking around the salon for 15-20 minutes in the salon waiting for a friend to finish and must have encountered 3-4 hairstylists and the manager and nobody even says a word. And trust me, it's an obvious haircut failure. Most unprofessional and incompetent haircut spot I have ever witnessed. And 40 dollars to top that off. The minimum at this place. Ridiculous! If u have ever gone to a barbershop, this is the exact opposite of the type of hair cut you ever want.

Great location and fantastic service. The prices are realistic (fair), despite the high-end appeal and results. I've worked with Caitlyn since day 1 and will be a customer for as long as she works there. For a place that is always busy, they're never "too busy", which is a true testament to their dedication to customer satisfaction.

JaHanna Daniels will keep you coming back because she makes sure her customers are happy when they leave. Very relaxing atmosphere. Kenan Crepin-Green - the main colorist is a true artist and assists any stylist if needed. I have a combination of curly and straighter hair- and trust me- not just anyone can cut this stuff- you need to know how to cut curly hair- and JaHanna can do it.
