I just came in Atlanta and was looking on Google a good hair salon. James Madison had the best reviews from all so I decided to give it a try. Today I went to the hair salon and the atmosphere in that place felt great. Soft music, elegant interior design, polite and happy people made it so welcoming. The shampooing was relaxing and nice as well. As for the haircut part, I have to admit I was a little bit intimidated of the outcome at the beginning. However, Bailie with her charming attitude and humorous character showed amazing performance and concentration and the final outcome was just perfect. In short, I undoubtedly recommend this hair salon.

I love getting my hair done, and this place has been one of my best experiences. My haircut was perfect and I was in and out super quickly, considering I have pretty long hair and it seemed really busy. It's been about a week now and I'm still amazed at how much I'm loving my haircut! It looks great straight and curly. I will definitely be back.

I purchased a Scoutmob certificate to receive hair services at James Madison Salon. The location is extremely convenient to the downtown universities. I had been super busy for a few months and my previous vibrant red hair color had faded to a golden red. Before now, I also traveled pretty far back home to have my hair done and I have been searching for a closer place. Madison did an excellent job on my hair color! Reds in many different shades, very similar to the concept in the picture I brought in. She also did a glaze on my hair to protect the color from fading. "E" (Eric) did my cut. It was very modern and edgy. I kept getting compliments on it on the way home. Everyone was very nice, no unexpected charges, and I would be happy to recommend James Madison Salon to anyone.

Loved my experience at James Madison. As a first time client, you're always a little worried of the outcome. My mind was put to rest once I saw the final product. What a masterpiece! Josie, my stylist not only did a precise cut, but was so gentle that it barely felt like she touched my head. Just extra icing on the cake... Went to the store right after, and was followed down by someone just to compliment my hair.

Staff was great, welcoming and friendly; however I asked for a highlight and got an overall color. Gonna chalk it up as a misunderstanding. When I got home I realized the back of my hair was about 5 shades lighter than the top. Going to have it fixed at another salon. James Madison is fashon forward and takes trendy to a whole new level if you're into that sort of thing. If you like a more classy atmosphere, choose a different salon.
