WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! For Christmas I asked a relative to buy me a gift certificate to get my nails done to cut down my upcoming grad expenses. She went into Savani Hairstudio and specifically asked for a nail gift certificate... I was thrilled to receive such a gift. Before grad I tried redeeming the gift certificate and was informed that it was only valid on certain services, the nail studio not being one of them! I was also informed that my gift certificate had expired! (SOMETHING PROHIBITED BY THE ALBERTA FAIR TRADING ACT!) After bringing this to their attention I was offered a free hair cut (my gift certificate was worth more than their hair cuts but I figured I should at least get something out of it) I clearly specified, to the hair dresser that I wanted layers but for her NOT to thin my hair... The language barrier was SO BAD half way through my hair cut she pulled out her texturing sheers and started thinning my hair! I was so upset with the whole ordeal I didn't realize my hair was 1/2 IN shorter on one side! LITERALLY! I scheduled a hair appointment for after school the next day. Before the appointment multiple people (including teachers! lol) commented on my hair being two different lengths! the service was all together HORRIBLE and the hair dresser was rude to top it all off! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMENDED IT TO ANYONE!
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! I have been using the same hairstylist for almost 10 years. I hadn't had time to see her for WAY too long, and was desperate on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm to have my hair cut for an important meeting Monday morning. I read the google reviews and was suspicious because I thought it looked like they got a bad review and then tried to make up for it by writing some fake reviews. I was wrong! They told me to come down right away. When I got there, I realized my stylist was a male, and I was nervous because I just don't trust men to do my hair, never have. I told him I was growing my hair out and not to take anything off the length but I needed a trim and a color. He didn't take anything off the length, so I didn't expect my hair to look too much different than when I went in. But somehow he made me look like a completely different person. A different person with much much better hair. Customer service was great. No waiting, and when my stylist was busy when it was time to take my foils out, another stylist came to do it. Best haircut I have ever had I will recommend this place to everyone!! Just don't tell my old stylist lol
For my first experience at Savani Hair, it was great! Fred my hair stylist, and at first i was hesistant to let him touch my hair as im very picky for who styles or cuts it. Fred did a amazing job on listening to what i wanted and following those requests. My friend who has been a client of Savani for the last 6 years also informed that their staff is just as incredible. Thanks Savani Staff!! - Amy
horrible horrible horrible!! ..they clearly don't know what they are doing, this one lady was rushing through my hair, chopped off more than i want to, cause there is other customer waiting for her, messed up sooo bad that i had to get another hair cut somewhere else just to fix it. don't ever go there!
