Upon arriving I asked for highlights and layers. I specifically asked for highlights that wouldn't have an orange tint to them. The hair dresser who I was assigned to did my highlights very quickly. While waiting to get the highlights washed from my hair, my hair dresser had another client come in. She asked another stylist to wash out my hair while she attended to her other client. After my hair was done being washed, the original hair dresser made me wait a long time while she tended to the other client. She then proceeded to give me the worst cut of my life, while she was cutting my hair she kept looking over at her other client, I have a lot of hair and it took her about 5 minutes to cut ALL of my hair because she was so eager to get going on her other client, she hardly even made conversation with me. As my hair began to dry I realized the highlights she gave me were slightly on the orange side. I was so shocked by the experience that I paid and left. I looked at my hair in my car and it looked terrible, she spent so little time on it and she even blew dry it really fluffy so I couldn't immediately tell how uneven of a cut it was. Over the course of the week the highlights became very orange. I am so disappointed by this salon, I will never go back.

I consider myself a Becoming Hair Studio "LIFER" because I can't see myself ever going anywhere else! I've been going to Becoming for several years now and love my experience every time!! Their Root Club is the most genius idea I've ever heard of at a salon for regular "root touch upers" like myself. I am dedicated to my lovely stylist Chelsea who is a talent in her craft. I have also been fortunate enough to have seen almost all of the other incredible stylists at the salon as well. If ever something doesn't turn out exactly right, they are always more than accommodating. Their goal is to make you happy and you can feel that! Not to mention the top notch Redken hair products are devine!! I've been to many high end salons in my day, this salon has to be one of the biggest highlights of Aurora. My cousin drives an hour to come here to have her hair done. Once you try it.. you'll love it! Keep up the great work ladies! WOW!!! What a fabulous salon. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are all so friendly. You truly get great service at Becoming and it is obvious that all the stylists are highly educated and take great pride in their work. Never disappointed and I highly recommend this local gem.

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Courteous staff great you, stylists consult with you before your treatment and head massage to die for! Always been thrilled with my cut & colour each time. Have seen multiple stylists there too, all have been great! Highly recommend.
