It's very difficult for me to find a place to get my hair cut - I'm constantly underwhelmed with the lack of service and subpar haircuts provided by most places I've been to. When I first called "The Business" to make an appointment, I was surprised to speak to such a kind and friendly person on the other end of the phone. Kim - the owner who also does the booking here was helpful and very happy to hear from me. The morning of my appointment, I was greeted with a smile and they took my coat, offered me something to drink and I sat in the lounge by the fireplace waiting for my haircut. The wait wasn't long, and I only waited because I was a little bit early. The Business definitely knows how to make getting your hair cut an experience, rather than a chore. They made me comfortable, calm, and I'm extremely happy with the haircut. I will definitely go back for my next cut. The head barber and stylist Ben did an excellent job. The price is still very reasonable (although slightly more than the franchises) but if you value a talented team and a real lounge experience, the value far exceeds what you pay.

I have been using the TBMGL for a while now, and love it! While I have very little hair these days, it is hard to find talent that does exceptional cut in lines and fades unless you are downtown. Ben - the newest barber - is simply awesome at what he does. A true perfectionist! Kim the owner is a great resource, unbelievably friendly and truly values her customers! This place is impressive and I have been a customer since they opened. The newest barber is Ben, he is skilled and I got the best fade I have ever had - hands down - great experience. The owner takes all the bookings and the customer service is terrific - she is adding the right staff and I always feel like a visit here is more than just about a hair cut.

This west end gem of a men's grooming lounge gets better with every visit. From the friendly, polite and professional greeting by the OWNER to the terrific haircuts/shaves. The coffee served hits the nail on the head as well. I am a customer for as long as they will have me!
