I'm really disappointed in the haircut that I received and the response I got when I raised my concerns to the management. I went in for the first time thinking that all I want is my short hair shaped a bit, so it should be easy for an intermediate stylist to do. The stylist (Noelle) didn't ask me how short to cut my hair before she chopped it. She barely asked me any questions and then assumed that I must flat iron my hair everyday which I don't and can't because I have a 1.5 yr old and can't leave a hot iron sitting out to cool. Everyone has a different process so I didn't think much of it at first when she didn't ask me the regular questions that every other stylist I've been to asks. But when she cut almost 3inches off the front of my hair without even confirming the length I was peeved. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but waking up the next day and not wanting to look at myself in the mirror made me call the salon to ask for a refund. The woman on the phone told me "if we gave everyone who had a bad haircut the first time a refund we wouldn't be in business" And to her I say, you're right, you shouldn't be in business if everyone is asking for refunds. This is the first time I have ever asked for one. And I don't believe that the stylist tried her best. She doesn't deserve to be called an intermediate stylist because even a new hair stylist knows to ask before you cut and then ask again to be sure. Worst experience in my life!
I really loved my haircut BUT the cape/cover they put on me had someone else's hair all over it. Really grossed me out and I wish I had said something about it. Leaves a certain level of hygiene to be desired.
