Usually I treat manicures and pedicures as a relaxing experience. I was sad to hear one of the owners vent about terrible customers that come through this salon. Though, in my opinion a bad product is not cause for swearing at the owner (as he explained some had done in the past), I found it in poor taste that he shared these details with me. Perhaps this is a one time oopsie, but I have always been trained in service to keep all upset aside because each customer deserves their own (positive) experience. In terms of the product that I received: The colour for shellac on the swatch did not match the product that went on my nails (I am not too picky, so I am actually okay with this-but heads up if you wouldn't be). But when I pointed it out to him he argued that it was the same colour. I wouldn't have made him change it, but I felt like he literally lied to my face. Polish was not painted on with care. It was dried under UV light with clumps collected on several nails in the crease on initial applications. When I asked for another coat of polish, they advised me against it without reason. They did do this for me in the end, so yay to that! After paying, they were rushing out of the store so I can't help but feel that that may have been the reason for not wanting to apply the last coat. Although they are priced really well and their salon is exceptionally clean the service is not up to my standard for beauty services.
