I wanted a good medical spa to help me fight against my acne when someone advise me to go to this spa in Ottawa west. I am grateful to this person because now I talk about acne on the past. I do not have any pimples anymore, their anti acne treatments really work. Highly recommended!

As a teen I suffered with a great deal of acne. As an adult I had some scars from acne on my face. I wore makeup all the time to cover up the imperfections. I had a consultation at LCI and was told that microdermabrasion and peel would help. I have had 4 sessions and see a great improvement in my skin texture and my scars. The treatments are very comfortable and relaxing.My technician was very knowledgeable in helping me find the right products for my skin. I love the Medique products, especially the cleanser. It is just amazing!

I recently went into LCI Ottawa Laser Clinic for an initial facial consultation. Lately with the weather changing, I have noticed my skin to be both dry and with acne in my facial T-zone (forehead, nose and chin). I suspected the over-the-counter products I was using were not helpful. So I decided to see an esthetician to evaluate my face and set up a daily plan for healthier skin. I had a facial with extractions. It turns out that the products I was using had caused a pH imbalance causing more acne. Also the products were not properly exfoliating the dry skin even with moisturizing. At the start of the facial, a microdermabrasion tool was used which exfoliated the dry skin and dead skin cells for a smoother feel. I also noticed that the medicines and creams used in the facial did not create a burning sensation on my face. Some of the products have salicylic acid, but it was much gentler than what I was currently using. At the end, the esthetician had recommended some products for daily use. Not only were his recommendations based on my skin type, but also my lifestyle in how I take care of my face. The lifestyle factor is important in determining successful long-term use of the products. Walking out, my skin was glowing and it was the smoothest it has been in a very long time. It has been a couple of weeks since my visit. I am truly in love with my skin products and have scheduled my next facial which is 3 months out. I highly recommend LCI Ottawa Laser Clinic for specialized facial care. They are the best in the business!
