Been going on and off for years. Have never been disappointed, and is definitely worth the price. I have paid way more at other salons to be very disappointed and left feeling over charged and hating my hair. Chris is fantastic especially if you like a stylist with their own opinions, input and inspiration.
I know someone who gets great cuts here. But the stylist does not understand curly hair, though he assured me he did when I told him mine had grown too thick and bunchy. He chopped into it seemingly at random, deep chops almost to the roots in some places, chatting enthusiastically about how fun and artistic this would look. I can't see without my glasses, so was at a bit of a disadvantage. I ended up with a bird's nest of a mess with big, unbalanced hunks of hair here and there. When I washed out his glue-like product, the result was indistinguishable from what we have all done to our Barbie dolls with our little plastic scissors when we were four or five years old. Hideous... the worst cut of my life so far. A stylist at another salon helped a bit, but said the chops were so deep it will be at least six months before it can be decently cut.
