A unique Hair and beauty salon with friendly staff and a fabulous interior design. Creating a very relaxing but uplifting experience - it has made me feel energised for the rest of the day. My thanks to the fabulous Charlene Hague for her talented hairdressing skills combined with her personality certainly makes this venue a definite re-visit. I shall be recommending this salon to my friends. This salon definitely has a unique atmosphere and is the best I have been to - and I have been to a lot. Loved it! :0)

Having tried a few hairdressers in the Macclesfield area it was lovely to find Sugar Plum. My stylist Ami was great and despite my terrible description of what I wanted to do with my hair she coloured it with a half head of foils superbly! The junior drying my hair worked wonders with my long locks. Just one little niggle, I'd have like would have been an offer of a drink soon after arriving but otherwise really happy customer! A little gem, great find....

I had a Jessica gel manicure at Sugar Plum two weeks ago on my first visit and was impressed with everything. The decor was sumptuous: everywhere was bright, stylish, spotlessly clean and very inviting. The girls were friendly and chatty, with none of the robotic conversation that some salon employees rely on. My friend had her manicure whilst I waited - just as well, as it gave me time to choose from the vast array of shades on offer. Having plumped for a pale blue, I then changed my mind once I saw the manicurist's own immaculate nails - and instantly switched to 'Intrigue.' The manicure looks beautiful and I have had heaps of compliments on the colour - I'm booked in to go again next week for a follow-up; this will be a standing arrangement! Highly recommended overall. Will definitely try a facial and massage, pre holidays.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this salon....... I usually find it very difficult to find a hairdressers which is consistently good..... I have been going to Sugar Plum Hair and Beauty Salon now for sometime and I am always really happy with the cut and colour. Aimee does both my cut and colour and thanks to her suggestions the colour that I have now is so natural looking that I can leave it a couple of months between colours. There is no hard sell with shampoo's, treatments etc which is so refreshing .... The coffee and treats that you get served when you arrive is a very nice touch also.The new salon is amazing, really modern, fresh and clean, there is always a really nice atmosphere in the salon too ... I have recommended this salon to a number of friends who now go and I am just about to book my other half in, !!! I can not recommend the salon highly enough..... go ahead and book yourself in !!!

I have never felt as awful as I did when I left the salon. I have ended up looking like a boy without the hair cut that I had expected from reading the previous reviews.
