Cool Cuts 4 Kids
Reviews
I dont care about all bad reviews. We went there last night. My 1 and a half year old son had his first haircut. We were happy with there service. Gina was a fast hair cutter. We like her and definitely recommend the place.
I gave this place 4 chances, since it was a kids hair salon. All four of those times they did a terrible job. The staff never have a smile on their face, they always look miserable. I ask them to do a fade on my son and never seem to understand what a fade is. They always use one size clip for the whole head. They leave longer hair on some parts. I expected a better cut and better customer service from this place. And to top it off their prices are high. Twenty dollars for a kids hair cut, at least they should treat you nice. Never plan to go back. Do not recommend to anyone.
Not a very good first impression when I call and the girl who answers the phone abruptly hangs up on me as I'm in mid sentence thanking her for the information she gave me. I'm leary about taking my son there now.
Despite the bad review I read, I wanted to give Cool Cuts a chance. I took my daughter to get her first haircut. No appointment, I walked in, signed in, and patiently waited for over twenty minutes with zero acknowledgement. It wasn't busy, but I waited until the other customers were gone (from what I could see) before asking, "Should I just leave or am I going to be helped?" The girl, who looked as if she hadn't showered in a month, walked over and asked if I signed in. "Yep." She seemed agitated that I was asking to be helped, and was not apologetic or friendly in the slightest. She said there was someone ahead of me but because there were two employees they could take me, as she snarled her lip, furrowed her eyebrows, and walked away. I told her to suck it, took a picture of the district manager's phone number, and stormed out. I went to Great Clips and was helped immediately. They made my daughter comfortable and were super friendly. I will never recommend or go to Cool Cuts.
We were not happy with the service at this so called salon for children. We purposely sought it out to help make my 2 1/2 year old's haircut experience a good one. We tried to make an appointment ahead of time, only to be told there were not any appointments because it was a busy time w/ school starting. We decided to walk in and found that one lady did have an appointment but they were taking all the walk ins before her (even though it was past her appointment time by 1/2 hour). When we walked in, no one said a word to us, there was only one lady working, one sitting in the back. I only knew where to sign in because another parent pointed it out. When we finally got him into the chair the girl did not ask my son's name or try make him comfortable. As a matter of fact, he was crying and she just told us (with no expression in her voice) to basically force him into the firetruck chair and strap him in and that he'd calm down eventually. He was unhappy and crying the entire time. I would not go back again!
