My friend has been telling me to go to Queen Bee for years. She gets facials done there and loves it. I resisted since I didn't live anywhere close by and driving to the foreign land of Culver City scared me back then. Now, I work so close I can walk there in just a few minutes. A few weeks ago I scheduled my first pedicure during my lunch hour. Sheer delight. I love everyone that works here, they are so nice and i love the layout of the place. My spirit is lifted just walking in and smelling all the good smells of product and being able to check out what they have for sale. The pedicure rocked so I followed it up with a custom facial last night. Yvonne was amazing and I walked out of there feeling so happy and relaxed. They also have fun things to buy there having nothing to really do with spa life. I walked out with the cutest "today I'm grateful for" notepad that I'm trying to use on a daily basis. I've been very happy with Queen Bee and been going for over 3 years. I love my girl Claudia. She has excellent experience and the right touch with waxing. I always feel great coming out of her room all clean and groomed. Parking is tight but I like how they text you or call to confirm your appointment.

So I had a full leg wax and brazilian with Candi. Its been over a year since I've been waxed and back then it had been my first time. So I was a little nervous today getting so much waxed- still pretty new territory. However, Candi was so non-chalant, and I appreciated her quick and efficient pulls. Not gonna lie, this hurts, but she put me at ease with her attitude- and thats a very personal area for someone to be in. I'd suggest Candi and Queen Bee to anyone who is on the fence about it. They're pros. This is what they do. Its not like they're a Salon that happens to do waxing. They're a Waxing Salon that happens to do other services:-)

these ladies are so nice and really put you at ease. going to get a wax almost feels like going to the spa (except for the waxing pain ; -) But seriously, the owner takes great pride in keeping her salons atmosphere relaxing and invigorating.
