The quality of the experience largely depends on the masseuse; my partner reported a much better massage than mine, which was just "okay." I went in with a sore back (I work at a desk all day) and while I left feeling more relaxed, my masseuse definitely did not work out the knots like my masseuse back home. The hotel was under construction so the ambiance of the hotel was not up to the W standard- which was just unfortunate and set the tone for the spa experience. The spa lounge was lovely and offered the usual: flavored water, a variety of brownies (not freshly baked, but still good), several types of cheese, a basket of apples and teas. The showers and bathrooms offered a variety of products- which are always wonderful. IF YOU'RE GOING AS A COUPLE know this is not a couples experience; men's and women's locker rooms are separate so you will not be able to enjoy any time together while at the spa- which is unfortunate if you're looking to relax together. I definitely would not pay full price for their services so IF you're going look for discounts on Groupon & Living Social (which are posted every few months). Good luck!
I do like to come here when I have time. This place is just ok. I've been to better spas. I got the 60 min sport massage. The person that did the massage for me was nice. They didn't really listen to my needs but I was ok for the massage. I guess I cant complain.
Great service and beautiful interior. Went here for Dine LA week which was a great value - ~$35 for a 4 course set meal! If you don't go during a dine LA event it can get expensive though...
I can't help it, all W hotels make me feel posh!
Awesome bar!
