Floyd's 99 Barbershop

they do care about guest priority and they are disorganized. this is a very small Floyd's. avoid. long wait 1+ hour guaranteed. better off going to a cheaper chain for men's cuts.
Inconsistent and disorganized. Have been there before and gotten an ok cut and color once and a great cut and color once. Went there at 9am today and asked for a cut and highlight. The gal said it would be 30 minutes, then 30 minutes later, she told me to come back later in the day. She was nice enough, but surely she knew there were only stylists who cut guys hair and none who do color until later in the day. Then, returned at 130pm. Asked for highlights (more blonde than brown) and a trim. Highlights took forever and ended up with a lopsided haircut and a head of mostly poo brown hair. Won't go back.
You get about the service of super cuts, for a higher price, and a longer wait.
Couldn't be happier, although I wish I was in the area more often... I originally stumbled upon this location when I was in the area one Sunday and stopped by the Farmer's Market. I caught my reflection in the glass of a neighboring store, and realized that i was looking rather scraggly... I had an important meeting the next day, so I figured I'd give Floyd's a try since I was already there... I'm used to spending around $50 for a decent haircut, so honestly wasn't expecting much... I've had very bad experiences at other similarly priced chains, but I was desparate. The shop had a cool rock & roll vibe with a ton of vintage posters, so at least I figured the ambiance was cool. I put my name in, and sat down in Sonia's chair. I told her what I wanted, and let her get to work. I was totally blown away... This was probably the best haircut I've ever had; she's got mad skills. I felt like I was at the male version of a spa... She used the scissors, clippers, shears, and even trimmed my eyebrows. I got a shampoo, a hot towel on my face (nice tea-tree scent by the way...), and even a back/neck massage thingie. I came in stressing about my meeting, and left with an unexpected zen/relaxed feeling. I don't live in the area, but I've been back several times since I just haven't been able to replicate this level of service elsewhere. I'm not the best at making appointments, but every time I've dropped by she's been able to squeeze me in...
Horrible service. It is my second time going here and again they showed how un-talanted they are. Asked for a simple cut. Just give a little shape. And genius lady, Sonya, cuts top part of the hair shorter than sides. What is this? a clown cut? these guys should be a joke...
