Great Clips Golden Square
Reviews

I'm not a regular customer here, usually use the shop in Westminster. Stylist was completely apathetic and didn't really seem to care about what she was doing which resulted in a cut as lackluster as she was. I don't recommend this place, even given that a $14 haircut is a $14 haircut, I get really good cuts at other bargain places. Skip this one and drive a little, I should have read the reviews before I stopped.

can't believe that, even I can do better job than them! I got the worst cut ever too!!!

I've been a regular for the past three years, and I've never had an issue with any of the hairdressers. It feels like most people complaining are just people who've had just one haircut from here. But every time I walk in, there's three-four people waiting in line, so they obviously know what they're doing.

I went here only because the boutique barber shops in downtown Golden were all closed on Sunday, and I really needed a haircut as my hair was becoming a borderline 'fro. The complete lack of clientèle should have been a dead giveaway that the service is miserable. The manager was distracted by - of all things - finding ketchup for most of my visit there. Apparently the Burger King next door ran out... In the middle of my haircut, the hairdresser and the manager got into a fight about who was working what day next week. All in all, my haircut was pretty bad. The only reason why it isn't atrocious is because at least she didn't cut it so short that I'd need to wait months before getting another haircut. It's still long enough that I should be able to go to Del's Tonsorial Parlor and get a nice trim in a few weeks. If you insist on going to a Great Clips and you're in the Golden area, just make the drive to the one on Alameda & Colorado. Driving half-an- hour out of your way is much better than looking like a dork for a few weeks.

Man oh man... So I'm a simple guy who gets simple haircuts... I went in because my hair was starting to reach my eyes and I asked for the same style just shorter. The lady proceeded to use a squirt bottle to get this semi-wet thing going which promised an uneven cut and talked about how she had be a stylist for over 15 years. Well, long story short, her experience hadn't paid off. On one side of my head I had over 2 inches taken off (the hair was standing on its own) and the back was literally untouched. Ever try to make a mullet by yourself? Blindfolded? With a jigsaw? That's what this was. Everyone in my dorm made fun of me for the next 2 weeks.
