I went in with an exact description of the haircut I was looking for-what I had, but about three inches shorter. While most of the haircut was fine, when I asked specifically about having layers cut into my hair, and demonstrated what I meant (combing the hair up and cutting so layers are gradual) the woman cutting my hair said she had done that. I thought she knew a different way of getting layers in, and let it go. Later, when she thinned my hair she used a razor as opposed to thinning shears (which I had mentioned and, again, demonstrated), which is very ineffective in extremely thick hair (which I have), and generally not recommended for wavy hair. She didn't seem to understand how to work with thick hair as opposed to normal to thin hair. I'll be getting this fixed somewhere else, and I wouldn't recommend going here. If you do, I'd recommend making sure the person cutting your hair knows how to work with your hair's particular texture and thickness.
I went in this location to get my hair cut a little over a week ago. I was greeted upon entering and a girl named Kelli cut my hair. She was great and my cut was awesome! I highly recommend her. However during the time I was in there I kept hearing someone in the back yelling on the phone. At first I didn't think any thing of it and continued the conversation I was having with the stylist. The person yelling on the phone then came up to the front of the store and stood in front of what I assume was her station she continued to yell into her phone but then started using profanities. I was taken aback by this and asked who this person was. She didn't tell me but apologized for the person's behavior. I guess another girl heard the question because she then told me that the unprofessional behavior was coming from the manager of the store. I loved my cut but I am unsure if I will return because of the behavior of the management.
I had a great experience with my stylist "Faith". She is very friendly, professional and not to mention funny. I highly recommend this supercuts. The ratings for others in the area is not that great. This one is!!!!!!!!
A young woman whose name I'll probably misspell gave me a fabulous cut last week. I'm just visiting Tallahassee for a couple of months, so I decided to pop in for a quick trim. (I'm a guy.) The stylist's name was Alisia (or something very close to that). She took her time and gave me a gorgeous cut, alternating between clippers and scissors and making me look really sharp. It looked better than cuts I've had at three times the price. The cut was $15, and I tipped $7 because she was so great, at it was still an incredible bargain. Before I leave town, I'll be back. She was great!
I have been dying my hair light blonde for 15+ years. Everytime I try to go back dark, it always looks like a disaster. After getting my hair cut several times by Jessica (and loving it), I trusted her to take it back to a more natural looking color. Absolutely glad I did. She does a great job on it- I always leave looking like a million bucks.
