As the holiday season comes to an end I would like to say SUPER THANK YOU to the ladies at Atir. To add a little spirit to my gell nails I had little snowflake/flowers placed on my pinkie nails. I had so many compliments from the first gathering until the last. And the best part was that though I was elbow deep in pots, pans, dishes, etc from Thanksgiving till New Year's Eve, my nail polish looked perfect - no chips or peeling. I am completely addicted to gells, now. I do remove them for a one week break in between to let my nails breath but that's as long as I can handle not having to worry about them. Off to the salon this week!! And if you have a special occasion, do try a little spirit sticker. It will make you smile.

I cannot begin to express the appalling treatment I received FROM THE OWNER, no less. The receptionist did not schedule my appointment correctly. And as I'm standing and waiting for the owner to figure out the error, she gives me the worst attitude, with exasperated sighs, even asking me to step aside to let someone else pay (of course they want their money.) I finally had enough of this abuse and asked why she was acting as if it was my fault the error was made. Rather than apologize and try to make it right, she starts BERATING me about how hard it's going to be. She never admitted their error or try to make it right. I hope she goes out of business

Thankfully I did not pay for this manicure as it was free with a coupon. The manicure was one of the worst in my life and my nails were peeling within the week. The entire experience was all about trying to sell you their products. I admit the idea of a "natural manicure" is appealing, but I will not be returning to pay $24 for another. They make a good attempt, but fall very short. I give them two stars for being very clean and friendly.

They are fabulous. The manicure can take a full hour if you want it to. However, if you want to be finished more quickly, speak up, tell the clinicians, and they will skip the discussions and focus on getting you through quickly. They always try to create a calm and unhurried atmosphere but just tell them what you want. They do a fabulous job, the products are great (and well priced) and the shop is spotless. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and when I'm out of town I really miss it. No need to purchase the other things, but they aren't "junk" by a long shot. I use the yoga sandals year long. They are great for pedis, for yoga, and for walking. My manicures last 2 weeks easily, and the pedicure is something I do every 6 weeks but easily have gone 10 weeks without chipping or problems.
