I've recently been asked by two friends where I get my hair cut. I referred them both to Ambience and BOTH loved it. Of course the Wash House is always a stand-out, but Dawn's (and her staff's) careful attention to my specific needs and consistent teaching of how to maintain my 'do' in all weathers is even better. And don't forget Vicki's amazing nail care. Mine have NEVER been better.
I always look forward to my salon appointment at Ambiance! As one of the "original" clients from the salon's beginnings, I have seen many changes. One part that has remained constant is the amazing customer service, professionalism, dedication, and talent of each stylist. How lucky to have such a gem here in Rockport! Thank you to Dawn and her wonderful staff and of course to Vicki, too.
Ambiance Hair Design is the best Salon on Cape Ann hands down! I have been going to them for over 10 years and I love my hair every time. Cut, color, updo's! They can do it all!

I only went to Ambiance because of their satisfaction guaranty. I left looking like BOZO THE CLOWN. The girl blew-dried my hair into a frizzy nappy bird's nest. I went is for a cut, and it cost me $40.00, before tip. I didn't bother with a "FREE RE-DO" because the owner was in studio during my visit and she didn't make any effort to correct how I looked during my visit-or when I left salon. Even my husband told me that I couldn't go out in public with the hair do, I got.
