This is my third time placing an order with this site. I live in Northern, CA and I always receive my orders within 3-4 days. This site has the fastest shipping I have ever experienced. Unlike some of the other hair sites I have ordered from, their stuff is in stock and on the shelf, so they can ship it to you right away. I decided against the braids I had in my hair on Tuesday, placed my order on Wednesday, and had my package in hand on Saturday to wear my wigs to my graduation on Sunday. I love receiving emails from them, they always have a lot of new arrivals and sometimes some great customer appreciation coupons. All in all, I love this site, they have everything I need to switch my style up. Their stuff is true to description, and high quality. Luxe also has never let me down, and gets my items to me in quicker and more reliable than any other site, and believe me I have ordered from them all (2 of them I had to even report to BBB because they take your money, don't answer the phone and won't ship to time). Luxe has me so spoiled I won't even drive 15 minutes anymore to my local beauty supply store. Thanks Luxe!
No doubt the very BEST experience I've ever had in a Beauty Supply Store. The staff is the best I've ever seen, they were so helpful and knowledgeable, this is the only store that carries my favorite curl junkie brand and other hard to find brands that I have yet to see in other stores. I've recommended them to my family and co workers and they're all happy too. Keep up the good work Luxe. Your customer for life!!
I tried to ordering from this establishment online on July 8th, it is July 16th and it hasn't even been shipped yet. This is my first time ordering from this store and I am very disappointed. I looked online today and read the reviews and some information about the company. I didn't realize the store was in Waldorf, I live in Northern Va, so it shouldn't take long for me to get what I ordered. I don't mind the 10 day turn around as long as I receive it on the 10th day. It hasn't even left the warehouse. As an African American we are always criticized for not supporting black owned businesses. This is why. I want to cancel my order, but I will probably loose more money, so I will try to be patient. Hopefully what I ordered will be of good quality for the wait.
I've been to Luxe twice since it's opened and made purchases each time. I've even encouraged my family to support them because it's a brand new business + owned by an African American woman (rare)! All of the employees are friendly except for this male employee I don't know his name (lighter skin tone + dresses like a female with long hair extensions). My first time visiting the store he acted as if I was bothering him when I asked for help. My second time visiting the store, he was out on the floor and didn't greet me as I came in, or didn't ask me if I needed help. He was standing by the door as I exited and said nothing. The prices are higher at Luxe but I shopped there for a better customer service experience than a typical beauty supply store. I will now being going to the lower priced beauty supply stores with poor customer service. If I have no choice but to expect poor customer service...I'd rather save money while doing it.
