Summerset Salon Day Spa

When I booked my appt. for a chemical service, no specific questions were asked of me or my expectations, so when I arrived for the appt., the stylist had no idea what she was doing for me and so she was under-prepared. During the consultation, both the stylist and her assistant appeared to be listening, but as the service got under way, I could see she wasn't doing what was asked. When I asked her to fix it, she made an attempt to do something, but I knew the results were not going to be what I asked for. I really wish I would've just left but instead I paid $125 dollars for something I wasn't completely satisfied with. My husband purchased a sizable gift card for me for Christmas, and now I have over a $100 dollars left to spend in a place I really don't want to return to. It wasn't the worst thing that could've happened, but it was just so disappointing to go to a high-end salon and not get what I wanted. My hair looks and feels fine, but I know it's not right. :(
UPDATE! I posted a review about not being given full time on a massage the other day. And today I received a call from the manager today offering a gift card for another massage with my usual therapist Nate. Wow! What great customer service. I would of never imagined that kind of service! Thank you very much for going above and beyond for a client :)
LOVE Summerset Salon Day Spa! The environment is so relaxing, feminine, chic, and fun. Any questions I had about anything could be answered by the front desk staff, and I always ask a lot of questions! I was even able to choose a hair stylist best for my hair type and style goals by talking with the front desk staff about what I wanted. Also, Brooklynn, is the BEST nail tech I've even gone to. She is so funny, friendly, and my shellac nails held up for 3 weeks! (she didn't even make fun of my "grow-out" for waiting that long to go back) I would recommend Summerset to anyone looking for a FABULOUS Salon!!
I went to Summerset Salon for my first every Brazilian. I have had my underarms and bikini done at another salon in the past, but Summerset's price was too good to ignore! Crystal (spelling?) was wonderful! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. It was not nearly as painful as I thought it would be. Crystal did small sections at a time and the wax temp was perfect. The salon itself was HUGE but super elegant and tastefully decorated. I will be back.
Came here for a prenatal massage. My third prenatal massage but my first at Summerset. Ellen was amazing. The way that she positioned me was very comfortable and relaxing. Other places just had me lay on my side and I would get uncomfortable. I felt that Ellen really knew what she was doing and was happy to see that she had invested time to learn about prenatal/maternity massages. I look forward to having at least one more before I give birth. Only complaint is that I wish the massage were a full hour instead of 50 minutes.
