Just tried Paul's after going to the salon nearby for many years. Talk about the difference experience makes. I'm an executive and needed a clean professional haircut, which is hard to get with my thick head of hair. Paul did an excellent job for a very fair price. The atmosphere and service at Paul's reminded me of the barber I went to as a boy with my father, quality service and quality people.
from this day on, I will never go to another barber shop. the only thing missing was a barber pole out front. In a world of great clips and Gillette razors I've finally found a place offering true skills. My haircut was awesome, my beard trimmed to perfection and the handy work with hot shaving cream and a straight razor was very impressive. skills that are missing from most barbers come on display when you walk into Paul's barber shop. I was welcomed with warmth and since I always lacked better options I had been doing my own haircuts and beard trimming. These guys make it quick, relaxing and even fun! To top off this great experience they charged me 16 bucks for the whole shabang... I gave him 25 dollars and still felt like I got away with something. Easy five star rating.
After years of doing the chain route I decided to search for a traditional barber shop. I'm very pleased to say I found what I was looking for at Paul's. Old school all the way and great price though you should tip them generously. They close at 6 everyday except Saturday when it's 2. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Not sure when they're open but it's pretty early. This will be *my* barber for the foreseeable future.
As a guy who wears a pompadour, it's hard to find a place that can give you one that's easy to put up and looks great. When paired with my favorite hair product, I didn't even have to fight my cowlick. Well worth the $13! (Cash Only)
Awesome, old school barbershop. Expect a barber that actually knows your name if you come in a few times, and warm conversation like an old friend. Also, the haircut includes a straight shave of the back of your neck(no additional charge). This was my first time here, but the haircut was awesome. I came to support local business, but will return for a great cut, and awesome people whenever I need a future haircut! As you would expect with most old school barbershops, bring cash since they don't have a card machine. It's worth the trip to the bank/atm! It's worth noting that pretty much every shop in the complex is non-franchise, so expect small-town friendly service, very nice folks!
