People are writing poor reviews after ONE treatment and not being hairless? HA, LEARN HOW TO READ AND BE PATIENT!!!! IT SAYS 6-12 TREATMENTS BEFORE YOU ARE COMPLETELY HAIR-FREE. I had my first treatment session back in December and have another one coming up next week. Although I have not seen much of a difference after a single session I am still giving it 5-stars because my aesthetician was AMAZING and made me feel very comfortable. I had tried to get laser hair removal done at another laser hair removal facility in Plymouth about 4 years ago but after my first treatment I decided to never return to that place! The lady I had was so rude and made me feel self-conscious (I am a fit, 25 year old female who was much thinner at the time of this other lady commenting about me needing laser lipo on my thighs!) I understand its a sales-ploy but that crap won't get my business.. after my first session at Angelic Skin Clinic I felt so comfortable I decided to purchase an additional 6 sessions. I am hoping my first session wasn't awesome by chance, I will revise my review if things change after my appointment on the 26th but as things stand - I was VERY pleased!
I had an awful experience. I purchased a Groupon for a series of services and when I used it the first time the technician (and the only person in the 'clinic') told me the Groupon I purchased was only for half of what I thought. She convinced me I had read the description wrong when I purchased the voucher so I let it go. When I went back for my second appointment I showed the technician (same person and again the only person in the 'clinic') my voucher and and description that states what I specifically purchased. She blamed the Groupon website for the error ("It must be a bad link") and told me because they don't make any money on Groupons ("It's just to get people in the door") she couldn't honor it. The worst part is she argued with me for over twenty minutes as if I was trying to get something I hadn't paid for. She wouldn't give me a phone number for anyone else to talk to, told me she'd have the manager call, and I've still not heard from anyone. The icing on the cake? The clinician told me they are currently offering a Groupon for the service I purchased.....and for $40 less than what I payed for. Buyer Beware.
I was just in and the service was awesome. I didn't feel pressured to buy extra packages. I would recommend to friends and family.
There laser does not on my skin. I wasted $1400 and a lot of time. one esthetician gave an extra session but they had the nerve to call me on the day of my appointment to either not come or pay for it. I kept my Saturday noon for that which they canceled last moment. So, basically my day was wasted. Why did they not call me prior to my appointment? Ha, never going there back again.
I was very excited about laser hair removal however Angelic Skin Clinic has made this experience extremely disappointing. Why the Groupon discount is not worth it: 1) The staff is young, lacks customer service skills (barely makes eye contact), not adequately trained (don’t bother to ask basic questions to understand if something has changes since the last visit, i.e. tanning/pregnant) and of course very unprofessional. 2) Definition of treatment area is nebulous until you ask them to do their job. The standard answer is well that is not part of the full leg or side burn for example. That is a small area, $200 more please! 3) Laser settings seem to change from person to person, if possible learn your settings on the machine. If you question the fact that you are getting zero reactions the standard answer is, well is less painful as treatments progress. Yet, the next visit with a new technician you are red all over. 4) Technicians do not inspect the areas needing treatment; they don't take the time to get to know you. If you let them, the wand would only touch you a few times before you are done. A full legs treatment by some of the staff can be done in less than 6 minutes (Particularly if you happen to get their latest addition Brook)! How thorough can you really be at that speed? 5) Scheduling is a nightmare and don’t dare be late, the nasty glares come out and they will welcome you with, “well, we will do what we can”. Translation…..your 2 minutes session is now 30 seconds!!!! Cancelations in less than 24 hours will cost you $30 but they can cancel at any time. 6) Most important reason to stay away, there is zero recourse for the horrible/no service and unprofessional practices. They will remind you, you have a contract! The manager/owner is condescending and will defend her poorly run place with glares, passive aggressive commentary. Zero acknowledgement of concerns or interested in fixing the issue. Thankfully I am done at this place but hope this review saves all of you potential buyers a bad experience and money at the end of the day.
