Went there once for a haircut with my two boys and it was decent. Went back again and it was awful. Rick wasn't too bad. The other guy took a CHUNK OUT OF MY SON'S EAR THAT WAS REALLY HARD TO GET TO STOP BLEEDING. He left some long spots and cut a triangle in his bangs. He kept asking if "that looked good" but eventually it was clear that we'd be best off if I just got my kids out of there and went somewhere else to get things fixed up.
Nice place, welcomed me in. Gave me a great cut!
the art of haircuting. i once ived near Art's and found my way inside. it is never busy. zero wait time. very classic barbershop feel to the place. super fast service. i usually end up looking like a little boy when i leave but the next day the haircut seems to look really good. i just let the guy "do it up" without giving him directions. plus he remembers me so he knows what i like to talk about during the cut. it costs 14 bucks for a haircut (for a dude) and i just like supporting small biz like this so i let him keep the change of a $20.
It's great, I go all the time.
I have been going to Art's Barber Shop my whole life and never had a problem. Never have I felt rushed or received bad service. All of the barbers that I have met have been very friendly and talk with you as though you've been a long time customer. The barbers listen well and give you exactly what you ask for. If I have had to wait, it was never long; each time seeing how every customer was treated respectfully and as if they were good friends. My experience has been great for years and I would highly recommend this shop over any other each and every day.
