I have been a patron of Julie's for years. She knows her craft and is personable; just what you want in a barber. I've seen three generations of a family come in together for a haircut. Appointments are required. This speaks to the popularity of Julie and her business. FYI Julie - the wine I was talking about is a Valle dell'Acate Frappato.
I have only recently become a customer. But so far, my experiences @ Julie's have been excellent. If you want a great haircut at a great price, give Julie a try. If you don't, go somewhere else.
Julie is GREAT and affordable. I like being able to make an appointment and I know it works better for her too!
I'm not sure why anyone would not give this barber shop excellent. I usually give her a tip because she does really well on hair cuts, and she charges so little compared to other places around the area. Also, Julie is extremely nice person, and good to her customers. If you go here, I'd call ahead of time to make sure she's not doing bookings, but she's really good about fitting you in if she has any open spots available.
Yikes! I could not disagree more with sj. Julie is funny, smart and as nice as could be. Most importantly for the purposes here, she is THE best barber I have found in the KC Northland. I have been in the metro area five+ years and for the first three, I bounced from one bad barber to another. Thankfully, I stumbled into Julie's shop 2 1/2 years ago. My wife always loves it when I come home from Swift Ave. with a fresh haircut. Highly recommended and VERY affordable.
