I didn't know getting a haircut could be that cool! Italian opera blaring when I walked in, Luigi singing away in his deep Italian accent. This place is a true hidden gem beyond words. I left feeling like I stepped out of the turn of the 20th Century on the Hill (or Little Italy). Oh yea, and my hair looks great (but that seems almost beside the point)
Maestro Luigi !! Luigi il Magnifico !! This place is a classic and O.G. (Original Gentleman) as an Italian barber shop can get. Just went in for an traditional straight razor shave. I was taken back to a time where a man was expected to be a master craftsman is his trade and that is exactly what Luigi is. I was greeted as a friend, treat with the respect that a client and family member would expect and left with an outstanding experience. The shave was perfect, nothing more then is necessary -no fancy this and that, just a sharp razor and a perfect touch. After words he touch up my haircut and (in a 50's classic way) styled me up. All for $18. I will be back every chance I get. Carmine
